COD for 2020 Is a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War?

Approaching mid-year means going through a routine that seems inevitable in the gaming industry - guessing about what the Call of Duty title will be offered by Activision that same year. Mid-year is usually the timing they can take to start sharing information and building hype. In 2020 this feels a little special. Why? Because instead of sticking with the Infinity Ward-Sledgehammer-Treyarch cycle 3 developer scheme, this year's series will reportedly be re-handled by Treyarch after Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare last year. The reason is suspected to have arisen due to poor coordination between Sledgehammer and Raven Software for the process of developing the COD series they were supposed to be working on.

COD for 2020 Is a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War?

With Treyarch returning, there is speculation that they will "continue" the work of Sledgehammer Games which is reportedly completing the Vietnam War-based Call of Duty game. But the latest rumor says another. Claiming to get information from reliable sources, reliable gaming site - Eurogamer.net believes that for 2020, Treyarch will offer a game called "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War". There is no further information whether this series will end up being a sequel series, reboot, or something far different.

But once again, this information is of course still a matter of speculation until confirmation comes straight from the mouth of Activision or Treyarch. How about you? What do you expect from this COD: Black Ops Cold War?
