Assassin's Creed Valhalla Will Make the Hidden Blade Again Deadly!

Does Assassin's Creed increasingly have a sense of action, especially for the last few series? This argument can actually be broken if we refer to the skill tree that opens up huge space for gamers who still want to play in stealth format. That option to play old-style Assassin is actually still available if gamers want it. What Ubisoft has done is only provide more play style options, especially for those who want to fight openly. Unfortunately, this system itself is not exactly perfect. One of them is because the position of Hidden Blade is categorized as a weapon that cannot always kill enemies, especially at higher levels, with only one stab. But this situation will change in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.

Ubisoft seems to want to encourage a stronger stealth sensation for Valhalla and ensure the stealth gameplay style is now a more reliable option. Speaking with Kotaku, the creative director - Ashraf Ismail made sure that the mainstay weapon Assassin - Hidden Blade will return deadly. That unlike the previous series where the damage he inflicts depends on the enemy level, Hidden Blade in Valhalla will now always produce one-hit kills like the old Assassin's Creed series.

Ismail also ensured that another stealth feature - Social Stealth where your main character can blend in with the crowd will now also be back in Valhalla. Ismail said that this system makes sense when talking about the Valhalla story - where a Viking who was not wanted to be present in England used the crowd to hide and disappear. While from the lore side, Ismail said that Eivor would not be told as a trained Assassin. He was more towards a Viking who saw the hidden blade as a cool weapon that he wanted to use effectively.

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla itself is planned to be released this 2020 holiday season, with no fixed date, for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and of course - PC (via Epic Games Store and uPlay). How about you? Interested in this series?
